Aloha! Leilani Shave Ice!

Don’t look at us, we didn’t come up with that definition! (Ok maybe we did)

Shave ice is a traditional Hawaiian dessert and refreshment that was first brought to the island by Japanese workers who came up with a tasty way to cool off from their long hours under the sun. We fell in love with Hawaiian Shave Ice after a trip to Maui and searched for a comparable treat here on the mainland. When we couldn’t quite find what we were looking for, we decided to open up a Shave Ice shop ourselves to spread the Aloha Spirit!

If you’re in the Central Valley, come visit us in Clovis and in Fresno. If you’re in the SoCal – Los Angeles area, stop by our latest store in the Glendale Galleria Mall!

Our state-of-the-art ice shavers bring out soft, fluffy, fresh snow-like ice shavings that remain that way and won’t harden. We combine this with your choice of ice creams, condensed milk, and flavored syrups and juices. It’s the perfect way to stay cool, satisfy your thirst, and enjoy something sweet all in one! (Plus it kicks the snow cone’s butt, but maybe we’re biased.)

Feeling creative? We have sooo many flavors you can mix together!

At Leilani, our goal is to bring a taste of the Aloha Spirit to Southern California and the Central Valley.

Leilani is made of two words: lei and lani. Lani means heavenly, and lei is a traditional Hawaiian garland of flowers (c’mon, we’ve all seen Lilo and Stitch!), typically given as a symbol of love, acceptance, and welcome. Combined together, Leilani means heavenly lei.

To us, Leilani represents the love, friendliness, and unmatchable experience that we strive to share with our customers every day.
